Way to go Mom...

You know those times when you forget something that's really important? Like the keys to your house, your cell phone, or to feed your kid dinner before going to church? Well, I am a genius and forgot to feed poor B dinner before we went to church. We were in a rush to get out of the door and I was packing bags to stay over night that it completely slipped my mind. I am very glad that Aunt Morgan kept him entertained while he would every now and then ask me for dinner. Well, at 11:00 we got to Dee Dee's house and he DEVOURED his mac n' cheese (the quickest thing I could make.) He did get a snack in between, don't think too poorly of me haha. Here is this poor child tearing up in mac n' cheese.

All consuming fire
You're my heart's desire
Living flame of love
Come baptize us

I wanna know how high, how deep, how wide
His love, love, love

We are home!

I already can't wait to go back to The Springs next year! I absolutely love being there and I really think that Bryce is starting to enjoy it too. This is was his third year here, but this year he really got to play and interact with everyone. It's hard to describe the things we learn at this place, the people we meet, and the amazing encounters that we have with God. Just know that it's wonderful.
This is Bryce and two of my most amazing friends, David and Daniel. Bryce had such a ball with them! I'm not sure Bryce even knew I was there! He was constantly with them and if he wasn't he was trying to find them. They were so good with Bryce, even though he can get a little tiring ;)

So, the last night we all decided to stay up late. I thought that we were going to take a little golf cart ride. Let's just say that we ended up at the lake with me in some thorn bushes. But it was fun :)

Bryce was worn out when we left today. He was asleep for the 2 1/2 hours of the drive. I was so sleepy that I had to pull over and take a "power nap" (which I now believe in) in the BP parking lot. We are home safe and sound.

Day 3 at The Springs

Bryce is having a ball this year at Indian Springs! The first two years that he came he was really to young to run around and play, but the year he hasn't stopped yet! He has enjoyed golf cart rides, the nursery, good food, playing with David and Daniel and many others. Last night Bryce got to experience the talent show. Let's just say he didn't make it through the whole thing. He came right back to the cottage and passed out.

He wakes up every morning and ask why everyone is not awake (at 7:15 am, haha). Then, when each person comes downstairs he makes sure that they are all truly awake by asking, "You wake?" He just cracks me up!

We have really been enjoying ourselves. It is always so refreshing to come here. And I love meeting up with my old friends and catching up! :)

Sleeping

Bryce always sleeps so well at Indian Springs. It may the the loud window units, the many kids that he plays with, the heat, who knows? But I love it. We are having a great time! :)

Headed to Indian Springs

We are headed to Indian Springs tomorrow! Our favorite place in the world. :)

It is much needed after a stressful week of things including, but not limited too trees falling on my brand new car, early mornings, all day in class, potty training a two year old...

phew I need a break.

And Meisha, Bryce had a twenty minute coloring session today that involved you and Birdie.

No Facebook

You want to know the saddest part about my deactivating my Facebook? I actually feel like something in my life is missing, like I can't connect with my friends. Sad right? I am going to get used to calling people, going to see people, even alittle texting. If I am curious about someones life or something that they are doing I hope they will tell me or I can simply call them. Like the good ol' days. Maybe now I can go to bed at a de
cent hour, get some cleaning done, read some books (I have a huge stack that I for some reason didn't have time for), pay attention in class (for the most part), and the possibilities are almost endless.

I'm sitting here almost laughing at how embarrassing/sad this is. I have lost communication skills over a silly website. I would rather send someone a message or write on their wall than call them. I will look at people's pictures about their life that I am actually to shy to talk to "in real life."

But sitting here thinking about the most important thing in my lifetime that I will have more time for, makes me smile :)
